Customers and employees at a midtown Miami Walgreen's are shaken up but safe after police say a group of men held up the place overnight and made off with thousands of dollars in stolen cash.
The robbery happened overnight Monday at the Walgreen's location at 3103 Biscayne Boulevard, just off of the Julia Tuttle Causeway in northeast Miami.
According to Miami Police, four armed robbers entered the store and stole $9,000 in cash. Thankfully, no employees or customers were injured during the robbery.
The store, which is normally open 24-hours a day, is closed Monday morning as police continue to investigate.
The suspects remain on the loose.
