McDonald's Allegedly Targeted By Credit Card Skimmer

Coral Springs Police have arrested a 19-year-old they believe was using social media to recruit employees at McDonald’s restaurants across Broward County to steal the credit card numbers of customers.

Police said Adrian Liggins paid the McDonald’s employees between $120 and $140 for skimming the credit card numbers during their shifts. Liggins was also allegedly providing card-skimming devices to employees and then using the cards to buy merchandise.

According to Coral Springs Police, one of the credit card numbers was used in the same day at the Sawgrass Mills mall and in Pennsylvania.

Liggins faces two charges and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
