Arrest Made in Lauderhill Drug Deal Bust: Police

According to police, two minors were going to sell drugs to another minor and adult in the parking lot of Summit Palm apartment complex at 1980 NW 46 Ave.

One people was arrested after a drug deal went bad in Lauderhill on Thursday, police said.

According to police, two minors were going to sell drugs to another minor and adult in the parking lot of Summit Palm apartment complex at 1980 NW 46 Ave. The minor and adult then pulled guns on the sellers and made them go back into their apartment, where they made the minors get on the ground and they raided the apartment, police said.

They made off with $180, $80 worth of marijuana and a cell phone. They also brandished their weapons at a woman as they left the complex. She alerted police and identified the suspects.

There was a third man in the apartment, but he said he was asleep and didn't hear anything.

It wasn't immediately clear who was arrested.
