Police have arrested two teenagers accused of fatally shooting a pregnant woman outside an Opa-locka home last month while injuring her teenage daughter.
Zackrus Beckham was booked into jail early Wednesday morning on charges including first-degree murder and attempted felony murder in the killing of Quantia Curry Golden, Miami-Dade Police said. The 19-year-old was being held on no bond Wednesday.
A 15-year-old teen was also arrested last week on the same charges for his involvement in the case, police said.
The shooting took place on November 26th outside the home located near the 2500 block of Superior Street, where the 33-year-old Golden – who was three months pregnant at the time – was shot multiple times while sitting in a car.
Golden’s daughter, 13-year-old C’lexus Richardson, was shot in the shoulder during the incident and later released from the hospital. Investigators say Golden had just left her job at an area hospital.
The Miami Herald reported the shooting may have stemmed from a gang-related argument on social media and that the victims may have been targeted in an effort to eliminate witnesses.

Golden’s brother, Donald Jones, was fatally shot in 2011 in an unrelated shooting that claimed the then 20-year-old’s life.
