Baltimore Ravens' Jah Reid Arrested for Misdemeanor Battery in Key West

Reid arrested after fight at Key West strip club: Authorities

Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Jah Reid was arrested after a fight at a strip club in Key West, authorities said.

Reid, 25, was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor battery early Sunday at Red Garter Saloon at 208 Duval Street, Monroe County Sheriff's Office records showed.

The fight began when Reid and another man bumped in the bar and had words before Reid head-butted the man and punched him then started kicking him on the floor, according to KeysNet.com.

Reid allegedly punched a security guard who tried to break up the fight, KeysNet.com reported. Another man who was with Reid, 23-year-old Benjamin Buxton, joined the fight and was also arrested for battery.

Reid, who is from Haines City and played in college at Central Florida, was selected by the Ravens in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He appeared in 10 games last season.

Reid is the third Ravens player arrested in the last month, joining running back Ray Rice and receiver Deonte Thompson.
