Bicycle-Riding Bank Robber Strikes Again in Miami: FBI

The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a Miami bank at gunpoint Monday morning and is believed to have robbed a bank in Hialeah over the weekend which he fled from on a bicycle.

Monday's robbery happened just after 9 a.m. at the TD Bank at 720 Northwest 57th Avenue. Saturday's robbery happened at the First Bank at 1325 W. 49th Street in Hialeah.

In both robberies, the suspect entered the bank, brandished a gun and demanded that everyone lay on the floor before he jumped the counter and demanded money from an employee. Customers were in the banks during both robberies but no one was injured.

After the Hialeah bank robbery, the suspect changed clothes and fled the area on a bicycle, officials said. Surveillance images from Monday's robbery showed the suspect dressed in all black with sunglasses and a cap.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000.
