Bicyclist Struck, Killed By Vehicle in Hollywood, Police Say

The crash was reported about 8:30 a.m. at North 66th Avenue and Taft Street.

Hollywood police are investigating a collision involving a bicycle and vehicle that left the bicyclist dead early Sunday. 

The crash was reported about 8:30 a.m. at North 66th Avenue and Taft Street. At the time of the collision, the vehicle had been going westbound on Taft Street, according to police spokeswoman Lt. Nicole Coffin.

The male bicyclist died at the crash site, and the driver stopped and waited for police to arrive. The driver is cooperating with authorities, Coffin said.
