Blushing Bride for Billboard Millionaire

Palm Beach man who was looking for love on the highway gets hitched

The South Florida man who erected a 50-foot billboard earlier this year hoping to find a wife succeeded, no thanks to the billboard.

Tom Feltenstein spent $6,000 to put up the billboard in April, situated on I-95 near the Palm Beach Airport.

"Have Maid...Have Money, Would Love a Honey!" the ad read, in big white letters accompanied by a heart and photo of Feltenstein.

Now, just months after the sign went up, Tom has found his bride, and the $6,000 may have been a waste.

"I never saw the billboard! I had no idea about any of this," new wife Cindy Feltenstein told WPTV.

"It was like a fairy tale," said Tom Feltenstein. "I'm very, very, very happy!"

Feltenstein, a divorced father of two who started a career in marketing over 40 years ago, put up the billboard not only to find a new wife but also to promote his book, "Lucrative Love: The Insider's Secrets to Marrying Millions."

But in the end, it was a chance encounter between their two dogs that brought Tom and Cindy together. The dogs began playing on Palm Beach an the rest is history.

"I think you just put yourself in the proper places and if the right one comes along, God bless it, then you have a lot to be grateful for," Tom said.

Cindy said she couldn't be happier to be Tom's "honey."

"I met my soulmate," she said. "I've never been married, I waited, so this is my first marriage and my last."
