Boat Stolen During Early Morning Theft Outside Hialeah Home

A Hialeah man is asking for the public’s help after his massive boat was stolen early Thursday morning from outside his family’s home.

The boat’s owner, Joel Jimenez, told reporters that video captured a total of five people in front of his home off East 60th Street around 1 a.m. Thursday – with Jimenez saying a total of five men took the 31 foot fountain boat valued at over $90,000.

Surveillance video showed the people involved arrive at the scene in a light-colored Ford pickup truck before attaching the boat and fleeing the scene. Jimenez said all involved were wearing masks at the time of the theft.

Jimenez added that the boat has a work fountain on both sides and the number 275 pained in silver on each motor.
