Boil Water Order Lifted in Northwest Miami-Dade

Residents no longer need to boil water when drinking or cooking

A two-day boil water order for some blocks in Northwest Miami-Dade is over, the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department announced late Saturday night.

The department said water samples have returned clear since it issued the order Friday, for NW 36th Street between NW 36th Avenue and NW 38th Avenue, after a 12-inch water main broke near the intersection of NW 36th Street and NW 37th Avenue.

Streets were flooded, but department crews repaired the broken main and resumed service later on Friday.
