Officers were investigating a suspicious package outside a Miami Police station Wednesday.
The package was left in front of the station at 400 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami Police officials said. A bomb squad was en route to investigate.
Northwest 2nd Avenue was closed between 3rd and 5th streets as a result.
Police later determined that the suspcious luggage was deemed safe by the bomb squad.
