Bomb Threats Made on 2 Weston Temples

Bomb Squad called in as holy centers evacuated

Two Weston temples were evacuated early Wednesday morning after a person made a bomb threat over the phone, police said.

Temple Dor Dorim at 2360 Glades Circle received the call around 8:40 a.m., according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

The caller said there was a bomb there and at Temple Bnai Aviv at 1430 Indian Trace.

Both temples were evacuated as a precaution, and the BSO bomb squad was dispatched to search for explosive devices.

No devices were found, a BSO spokesman said.
