Bond Lowered For Stepmom Accused in Hollywood Toddler Death

A judge reduced the bond amount Wednesday for a Hollywood woman accused in the death of her 3-year-old stepson.

The bond amount for Analize Osceola was reduced to $210,000, lower than the original set amount of $230,000. If she posts bond, Osceola will not need an ankle monitor.

She is charged with aggravated manslaughter, child neglect with great bodily harm and providing false information to law enforcement in connection with the death of 3-year-old Ahzia Osceola.

The child's father, Nelson Osceola, was also charged with child neglect with great bodily harm.

According to court documents, Analize was the last to see the boy alive when she reported him missing back in March. According to court documents, Analize heard the boy grunting around 4 a.m. and when she touched him he was slightly cold but still warm, the documents said. She put him on the floor and attempted to do CPR but got no pulse.

Analize didn't tell anyone about Ahzia's condition including her own mother, who lives in the home and is a nurse, the documents said.

Instead, documents say Analize waited for the other adults to leave the home then took two garbage bags and put the boy's body inside them then put him in a box in the laundry room.

She reported him missing around 11 a.m., about seven hours later. His body had extensive bruising "from head to toe," the documents said.
