Bosh Scores 30 as Heat Dominate in Philly

The Heat began the season 2-0 with their lopsided win in Philadelphia on Saturday

The Miami Heat are off to a 2-0 start on the season following their 114-96 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

Chris Bosh had another huge game with 30 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Bosh followed up well on an opening game effort that filled the stat sheet itself. The All-Star has taken his increased role on the team well and has been one of the biggest reasons the Heat have begun undefeated.

Josh McRoberts saw his first action of the season but did not start. In only 11 minutes, McRoberts scored three points while going 1-3 on his attempts. The forward also added three rebounds but turned the ball over twice. McRoberts should slide into the starting lineup as he builds up his minutes.

With McRoberts coming off the bench, Shawne Williams made another start and did well. Williams scored 15 points and added four rebounds to go along with four assists in 29 minutes on the court.

Dwyane Wade had a tough time scoring as he was a paltry 4-18 from the field but he dished the ball well. Wade tallied ten assists and also stole the ball three times so he played in a role in the win despite the lackluster scoring effort. One other key issue were his six turnovers which easily led the team.

Mario Chalmers made a statement for winning his starting job back with 20 points and four assists in his 25 minutes. In contrast, Norris Cole who started had ten points and four assists in 27 minutes.

The Heat will be right back at it on Sunday when they take on the Toronto Raptors in Miami at 6:00 p.m.
