A 2-year-old boy has returned home from the hospital after losing his right foot in a lawn mower accident.
The Tampa Bay Times reports Zayden Collins was released from Tampa General Hospital on Thursday, earlier than family members had expected.
He was playing in his yard in Pasco County on Saturday when he ran into a riding lawn mower that his mother was operating. The child's foot was severed below the ankle.
The boy's uncle Chris Littlepage says a family members and friends plan to make modifications to the home where the family lives in Spring Hill.
