A Broward County man was crushed to death under a trailer Friday afternoon while setting up for a car show in Hobe Sound.
61-year-old Bruce Hemley died while at The Pine School on Federal Highway preparing for "100 Years of Cars," at which 300 rare and exotic automobiles are displayed to the public.
Detectives say he was attempting to disconnect a 31-foot trailer holding a solar roofing display from a 1-ton Ford F-350 truck.
He became pinned underneath the trailer, which rolled or fell on top of him.
The Martin County Sherrif's Office and an official of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
