Authorities are searching for a pair of brazen thieves who stole a woman's purse as she walked through a terminal at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The incident happened in Terminal 4 back on Sept. 15, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said. The woman was waiting for transportation when the men grabbed her purse from her luggage cart and ran off.
A good Samaritan chased after the thieves but lost them as they raced up an escalator. Surveillance cameras from inside the airport captured the incident.
The thieves went to the upper level and fled the scene in a white Nissan Versa driven by a third suspect. They got away with a maroon Nine West purse, cash, an iPhone, Emirates IDs, her Indian passport, Canadian Visa and several credit cards, BSO officials said.
