A driver died after a Brightline train struck her car Friday in Aventura.
The call came in just before 3:30 p.m. at 20300 Biscayne Boulevard, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The driver was crossing the train tracks at West Dixie Highway and Ives Dairy Road when the train struck the car, Miami-Dade police said.
The adult female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
