Broward Animal Care and Adoption will hold a low-cost rabies clinic for county pet owners later this month.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 21st from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Delevoe Park, located at 2520 NW 6th Street in Fort Lauderdale. Any pet owners who are residents of Broward County can bring their dogs or cats for a rabies vaccine and county rabies registration tag.
The cost for a one-year vaccination and registration tag will be $25 for spayed or neutered dogs and cats, or $35 for unsterilized animals. Microchips will also be available for $15. Pet owners can pay for the reduced-cost services with cash, checks or debit/credit cards.
All dogs must be kept on leashes and all cats must remain in carriers.
