In what may be the least shocking news to anyone that has spent hours stuck in bumper to bumper traffic along Miami’s busiest roads, the city is not just the most congested in the state – it’s one of the most congested in the entire country.

In a survey conducted by navigation company TomTom, Miami ranked as the top city in the state and sixth nationally as drivers spend nearly 30 percent more time stuck in traffic than in other cities across the country.

Miami ranked 101st in the world according to the survey with the top five cities in the United States being Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, San Jose and Seattle.

Mumbai, India came in as the most congested city in the entire world.
