An afternoon bush crash in Wilton Manors sent six people to the hospital. The accident involved a city bus and a black four-door Jeep.
The accident happened just after 1 p.m. Monday. According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, the crash left heavy damage to the Jeep that was involved.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said six patients were taken to two different hospitals. Several other people were treated at the scene and refused to be taken to the hospital. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said five of the patients taken to the hospital were from the bus.
FLFR said none of the injuries from the accident appeared to be life-threatening.
