City of Miami Police announced the street closures for Sunday’s Calle Ocho Festival.
The Calle Ocho festival will take place on SW 8th Street between SW 27th Avenue and SW 11th Avenue.
The first street closures will be on Saturday March 10 at 11:30 p.m. All traffic on SW 8th Street will be affected.
Public buses in the area will be detoured.
Westbound traffic on SW 7th Street will be open until SW 8th Avenue. Eastbound traffic will be detoured at the same avenue.
Residents who live in the area will have access to SW 7th Street through SW 9th Street.
Police recommend that motorists use alternate routes if they are in the area.

All streets are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday.
