Caravan of Joy Delivers Gifts to Kids in Need

The Caravan of Joy stopped at Good Shepherd Childcare Center.

Scores of preschoolers met Santa and opened presents early as the Caravan of Joy made another stop Tuesday in South Miami-Dade.

Several dozen kids in need received presents at the Good Shepherd Childcare Center, and for them, it is a South Florida season like no other.

The children lined up one by one to get their presents. Even kids as young as 3 years old participated.

The hardest part was convincing the kids to wait to open their presents until everybody got one.

"I was so surprised!" said 4-year-old Gabriel.

"Ho, ho, ho!" said Anyia Washington.

The caravan has doubled the original goal by collecting enough toys for 4,000 kids.

The man from the North Pole never fails to mesmerize.
