Cat Recovering After Being Shot by BB Gun in Pembroke Pines

Police say a cat is recovering at the hospital after being shot with a BB pellet over the weekend in Pembroke Pines.

Officers arrived at the scene near the 19100 block of Northwest 12th Court on Sunday evening, where the black and white cat named "Roy" was found injured after being shot in the left side.

The animal was taken to a local emergency animal hospital, where the pellet was removed and he remained in critical but stable condition Monday.
