One child has died after a rollover accident on Alligator Alley Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened at mile marker 55 on Interstate 75 northbound near the Broward County/Collier County border.
Florida Highway Patrol said 6 people were in the vehicle during the rollover crash. One child died on the scene, while an 11-year-old boy was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. Details on his condition were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
