Child's Play: Man Takes Toddler to Drug Deal

Vero Beach man left kid in a car to buy oxycodone

South Florida man gave his son a lesson on how not to conduct a drug deal after he was arrested buying prescription pills from an undercover cop while his toddler was with him.

James Tibbetts, 25, was busted trying to buy 100 oxycodone pills in Vero Beach, TCPalm.com reports.

Tibbetts left a young child strapped in a car seat in the backseat of his car, got out and jumped into the undercover cop's ride to conduct the illegal business.

At least he didn't want the child to be a potential eye-witness at his trial.

Police also found $2,400 in cash on Tibbetts. He was charged with trafficking oxycodone and child neglect.
