Chris Bosh Released From Hospital

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra confirmed that Chris Bosh was released from a local hospital

Chris Bosh's recovery has taken another step forward as the Miami Heat star was released from a local hospital, according to a report by the Sun-Sentinel..

Bosh will still miss the rest of Miami's season due to blood clots that were discovered in his lungs. There is a possibility that Bosh will not attend any of Miami's remaining games even as a spectator as he recovers at home and takes it easy.

"He's at home. He's starting to feel a little better," Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said on Saturday.

Since Bosh was lost for the year, Miami has scrambled to try and replace the star as best as it could. Goran Dragic joined the team in a trade shortly before Bosh's status was confirmed. The point guard was set to solidify the starting five for Miami as one of the best in the league. Instead, Dragic has made up some of the offense that was lost with Bosh.

Miami also signed Michael Beasley recently to give the team depth at the forward spot. While Beasley will not likely play big minutes, he gives Spoelstra another option in the rotation. Beasley is on a ten-day contract but could end up sticking with the team.

Henry Walker who is also on a ten-day deal has done a great job off the bench for Miami. Of late, Walker has been playing starter-type minutes and will likely remain with the team after his ten-day deal expires.

Josh McRoberts remains likely out for the year with the door slightly open to a return. McRoberts could be a tremendous asset to the Heat should he be able to return this year. The Heat can simply not count on that happening however at this juncture.

Miami enters play on Saturday sitting in the seventh slot of he Eastern Conference.
