The Coast Guard has returned more than 50 migrants picked up at sea to Cuba and Haiti.

Officials say 25 Haitians in an open vessel were found June 9 in the waters west of Mona Island off Puerto Rico. They were taken Tuesday to Cap-Haitien, Haiti.

According to the Coast Guard, 31 Cubans were picked up June 13 in three separate incidents in the Florida Straits. They were taken to Bahia de Cabanas, Cuba.

All the migrants received food, water and medical care while aboard Coast Guard vessels last week.
