The U.S. Coast Guard has found a missing 62-year-old man whose boat was reported overdue in the Florida Keys.

The Coast Guard said in a news release that Robert Vonnegut's son called Sunday night to report his father missing. He told officials that Vonnegut left at 10 a.m. Sunday on a 10-foot blue and while boat and did not return as expected.

Crews from the Coast Guard searched for Vonnegut, finding him north of Islamorada on Monday morning with no reported injuries.
