Cody Ross Once Again Homers Marlins to Victory

Marlins win their 7th in a row at Toronto

Cody Ross is on fire.

Just one day after hitting a grand slam to lift the Marlins over the Blue Jays, he homered and doubled twice, giving the Marlins a 6-5 victory.

Ross is batting .347 in the last 27 games.

Jeremy Hermida also homered as the Marlins won their seventh straight game at Toronto. Florida is 16-4 all-time against the Blue Jays.

Pitcher Sean West received the win, his second of the season, allowing four runs in just over five innings.

Matt Lindstrom, the fourth Florida reliever, worked around a leadoff single in the ninth to earn his 12 save in 14 chances. He struck out Vernon Wells to strand a runner at second to end it.
