Cold Front to Bring Cooler Weather to South Florida

Partly sunny, highs in the upper 70s Thursday ahead of cool front

A cold front will slide through South Florida later Thursday morning, setting the stage for a cooler, enjoyable weather pattern this weekend.

Partly sunny skies will be the rule Thursday as the front makes its way through the area mid-day. Highs will reach into the upper 70s with winds turning to the north.

Look for clear skies tonight as we begin to feel the chill behind the front. Low temperatures will dip into the upper 50s east and potentially into the lower 50s west as north winds pick up around 10-20 mph.

Skies are sun-filled with temperatures staying on the cool side Friday afternoon. Highs reach only into the lower 70s Friday, some four to five degrees below average.

The weekend ahead looks great as partly cloudy skies continue to rule and temps hold in the upper 50s at night and around 75 in the afternoon.
