A Bal Harbour cop with a spotless record was arrested for molesting a 7-year-old girl, according to police.
Rene Guillen, 32, a five-year veteran of the city's motorcycle unit was arrested at his station house yesterday and charged with sexual battery on a minor, according to a police report.
Guillen confessed to sexually assaulting the 7-year-old while inside his home. He was relieved of duty without pay by the Bal Harbour Police Department.
"He has never been disciplined by the Bal Harbour Police Department"' Bal Harbour Police Chief Thomas E. Hunker told the Miami Herald. "He's done a great job."
