Possible Second Man in Fatal Shooting: Cops

Homicide detectives are looking at a possible second man involved in the fatal Dania Beach shooting that occurred Saturday morning.

The Broward Sheriff's Office is looking for a second man possibly involved in the Saturday morning fatal shooting in Dania Beach.

Christopher Q. Jordan, 20, is wanted for questioning regarding the incident. Detectives are actively searching for Eric Hunter, whom detectives have an arrest warrant out on for first-degree murder. Hunter also has a history of drug-related arrests.

Deputies say they were called to a crowded Dania Beach street party around 1:26 a.m. Saturday morning. Party-goers notified them when they arrived that someone had just been shot down the street. The victim, Dijon Brown, was shot many times and died at the scene.

According to detectives, Brown and Hunter had an ongoing dispute that boiled over at the party.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Christopher Jordan, Eric Hunter, or anything else regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Broward County at 954-493-TIPS or report it online at crimestoppers.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
