Cops Hunt Serial Video Game Store Robber

Three Game Stop robberies this week in Broward lead police to believe there is a connection

Broward authorities are trying to end the game of a gun-toting video game store robber who may be responsible for three thefts in as many days.

On Wednesday, the Game Stop located at 4905 Sheridan St. was robbed at gunpoint around 11 a.m. by a black female suspect, who authorities believe is the same woman who hit two other Game Stop stores in Miramar and Pembroke Pines.

The female suspect fired several shots during today's robbery, but no one was injured. She escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

On July 4, a Game Stop in Pembroke Pines was robbed and then, an hour later, employees at the Miramar store were held at gunpoint.

Surveillance cameras captured a black female, who police believe to be 20-30 years old, wearing all black, threatening the employees and demanding money. Each time she got away.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is urged to contact the Pembroke Pines Police Department at 954-431-2200, email to Tips@ppines.com <mailto:Tips@ppines.com>, or call Crimestoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
