Coral Gables Police Searching for 3 People Seen Burglarizing Over A Dozen Cars

Coral Gables Police are asking for help in finding three people they say broke into 14 cars – before stealing one of them – over a two hour period early Sunday morning.

Surveillance video captured the three persons of interest – one woman and two men – trying to get into one of the vehicles. The burglaries occurred on five different streets in the city: Capri, Monterey, Pizzaro, Wallace and Cordova.

The group got away with one vehicle, a 2013 silver Honda Civic.

One of the men is described as 5’8” with a thin build.  He is light skinned, has dreadlocks, and tattoos on his right arm.  He was wearing a dark shirt and shorts, and had a white shirt covering his head.

The second man is said to be thin and was last seen wearing dark-colored shoes. No other description was available. The woman was wearing a light-colored shirt and had her hair in a ponytail.

Anyone with information is asked to call Coral Gables Police or Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
