A Coral Springs man was killed early Tuesday morning in an accident at the intersection of Wiles Road and Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs.
According to police, Louis Campanella, 69, of Coral Springs was headed south on Coral Ridge Drive in a 2009 Honda Fit and was attempting to turn east onto Wiles Road when another motorist, Ryder Gaenz, 18, of Coral Springs, collided into him while driving his 1994 Chevrolet Corvette.
Gaenz also had one passenger in his vehicle, Devin Gaenz, 59, also of Coral Springs.
Campanella was taken to Broward Health North where he was pronounced dead.
Both Ryder and Devin Gaenz were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
