A serious crash involving a taxi cab shut down all lanes of I-95 southbound in Miami-Dade on Thursday morning.
Crews responded to the scene near Miami Gardens Drive just before 8:30 a.m. Chopper 6 was over the scene where the cab was badly damaged as crews worked to remove a person from the backseat.
A total of four people were taken to area hospitals, with one of them being a trauma alert while the other three are expected to be okay.
No information was released on the passenger’s condition or how long the roadway would be closed.
