A crash shut down the Sawgrass Expressway in Coral Springs for hours on Friday.
Both directions of the expressway near Atlantic Boulevard were shut down just before 3 p.m. The southbound side reopened shortly after the crash, but the northbound lanes did not reopen until before 7 p.m.
It's unclear what led up to the crash. Footage from Chopper 6 shows a vehicle turned over on its side on the northbound lanes. There were tire marks on the grass median and the barrier was broken.
Officials have not reported any injuries or fatalities.
