Trapped Construction Worker Pulled to Safety in Downtown Miami

A construction worker trapped on a boom lift machine was pulled to safety Tuesday afternoon, Miami Fire Rescue said.

The incident happened at a high-rise that's under construction on Southeast 3rd Street in  Downtown Miami. The boom malfuctioned and the worker was stuck four-stories high in the air. Mechanic at the construction site were able to fix the problem and lower the worker without help from firefighters.

The worker was not injured, officials said.

No other information was released.
