Two crooks started their own promotional takeaway at a Miami-Dade Shell gas station on Wednesday morning.

The thieves were caught by surveillance cameras snatching an ATM machine out of the ground and then loading it into the back of their SUV.
The early morning robbery happened at the Shell on SW 272nd Street and 177th Avenue in southwest Miami-Dade County. The crooks smashed the front window of the closed gas station and then wrapped a rope around the machine and tied it to a hatch on the SUV.
Then, after a brief tug-of-war, the machine came unhinged and the thieves jumped out of the truck and calmly loaded their illegal cargo into the back of the vehicle.
