Public's Help Sought to Find Missing Dania Beach Woman

Mary Swinford, 56, was last seen at her Dania Beach home in the 2600 block of Southwest 45th Street about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 24, the Sheriff's Office said.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to find a woman who vanished from Dania Beach on Christmas Eve.

Mary Swinford, 56, was last seen at her Dania Beach home in the 2600 block of Southwest 45th Street about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 24, the Sheriff's Office said. She walked away from her home, wearing a white sweatshirt and black stretch pants, the agency said.

At the time of her disappearance, the woman was “despondent,” or in low spirits, the Sheriff’s Office said.
