Davie Police continue to try to figure out what led to the body of Jill Su, 59, being found dead in a bathtub at her home Monday.
Davie Police got the initial call about the boy around 12:30 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived at the home near I-595 and Nob Hill Road, they found the body. The home is located in the gated community of Westridge.
Police spent hours searching a canal near the home Tuesday after interviewing the victim’s son and husband yesterday.
“The son and the father both responded to the scene and they were questioned by detectives at the police department,” said Davie Police Sergeant Ed Smith.
Sgt. Smith was asked if the son or father are suspects or persons of interest and replied, “I can’t discuss that right now.”
“The best I can say is that our detectives are doing their best to investigate it and find out exactly what happened,” Smith said.
