Miami-Dade County is helping shelter animals by offering discounted pet adoptions this weekend.
The pets will be at the Briar Bay Shopping Complex in Southwest Miami-Dade Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The adoption rates will be down 50 percent:
From $65 to $32.50 for dogs over 4 months
From $75 to $37.50 for dogs under 4 months
From $35 to $17.50 for a cat or kitten
From $35 to $17.50 for two cats or kittens for the price of one
The pets will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.
