Dispute Between Man and Escort Leads to His Arrest

The man faces strongarm robbery and battery charges

An argument with an escort about her services led to a man’s arrest for strongarm robbery on Monday, Boynton Beach Police said.

Police responding to a disturbance call on Villa Circle in Boynton Beach at about 4:45 a.m. found that Michael Schuster, 21, hired a 42-year-old escort to dance for him in his bedroom for $200, a police report said.

According to the report, the two began to argue when Schuster said he was not pleased with her dance performance and allegedly took back from her purse the money he had given her.

The report also said that he grabbed the woman by her hair and left arm, dragging her out of the apartment and pushing her into the hallway.

The woman went downstairs, yelling up towards his apartment, and Schuster threw down her purse to her without the $200, the report said.

Police said that Schuster was uncooperative and told several different stories that differed from the woman’s statement.

He is also being charged with battery, police said.

Schuster made his first court appearance on the charges Tuesday, but no further information was available in court records.
