The Miami Dolphins will put their perfect home record on the line when they host the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Miami will be without Ryan Tannehill once again in this game, which will put Brock Osweiler back behind center. Osweiler played well in a win for the Dolphins last week and will now try to repeat that performance. The veteran quarterback's 102.0 passer rating last week, was significantly higher than his career average of 77.7. Osweiler completed three touchdown passes during the victory over Chicago and was intercepted twice.

Osweiler could benefit from a sub-par Detroit defense, with the Lions allowing 27.4 points per game thus far. That defense could also mean a big day on the ground for the Dolphins. Frank Gore and Kenyan Drake should both see a fair amount of carries, with Gore possibly having a little extra motivation. The Lions brought Gore in for a workout during the off-season, but ultimately decided to not sign the veteran.

Albert Wilson could be an important player to watch once again in this one. The wide receiver tallied big numbers in yards after catches last week. Wilson was a key player in Miami's comeback win over Miami and talked a little over the past week as well. Wilson referred to himself as the "best YAC receiver in the league" in an interview following last week's big game. 

Miami's 3-0 record at home has kept the team in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Dolphins are 1-2 on the road thus far and have looked like two completely different teams. The weather in Miami could be playing a role for the team and it should be a factor once again. The Lions play in a temperature-controlled dome at home, but will be facing temperatures approaching 90 on Sunday.

The Dolphins have listed A.J. Derby, Cameron Wake, T.J. McDonald, Bobby McCain and DeVante Parker as questionable for this game. In addition to Tannehill, Miami will be without Charles Harris and Jonathan Woodard.

Sunday's kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
