The NBC 6, Telemundo 51 and Comcast Spotlight Grand Family Expo presented by Memorial Healthcare System will feature a panel discussion and audience Q&A session with Dr. Mehmet Oz.
The host of The Dr. Oz Show will conduct a panel discussion prepared by physicians from Memorial Healthcare System on the topic of Heart Health at the Expo at Sawgrass Mills on Sunday, March 31st. The event runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. He will also hold a Q&A session with audience members.
Dr. Oz will conduct the panel from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. and his presentation and Q&A will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Dr. Oz is an accredited health expert, best-selling author, and world-renowned cardiac surgeon. His show, which airs on NBC 6 on weekdays at 2 p.m., debuted in 2009 and is seen around the world in over 118 countries.

Dr. Oz is a professor of Surgery at Columbia University. He directs the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital and performs 50 heart operations annually.

His research interests include heart replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complementary medicine and health care policy. He has authored over 400 original publications, book chapters, and medical books and has received several patents.
