A man is dead after losing control of his car while driving at a high rate of speed, police said.
According to officials, Jordan Joseph, 26, was driving on the 1300 block of Northwest 199th Street in Miami Gardens at a high rate of speed early Saturday. That’s when police said he clipped another motorist, lost control of his car and crashed into a tree.
Joseph died at the scene of the crash.
An investigation into the crash is now underway. Police want to remind everyone to use caution when traveling over the holiday season.
