A driver involved in a road rage crash that sent a motorcyclist off the road in Sarasota which was caught on camera has been arrested, authorities said.
Magdiel Medrano-Bonilla, 30, was arrested Tuesday on charges of aggravated battery and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened Sunday and video of the incident shows the motorcyclist arguing with Medrano-Bonilla, who authorities say was behind the wheel of a gray car.
A witness said the driver of the car threw spare change at the motorcyclist, identified as Darin Hendrickson.
The video shows the car suddenly careen into Hendrickson, knocking him off the motorcycle and sending him onto the roadway. Hendrickson was still recovering from his injuries earlier this week.
Medrano-Bonilla remained behind bars Wednesday, jail records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
