Elderly Man Tied Up at Gunpoint in Miami Home Invasion

Police are looking for a pair of burglars who tied an elderly man to a chair during an armed home invasion in Miami early Wednesday.

The two masked men broke into the home in the 2500 block of Southwest 21st Street around 1:25 a.m., as the 80-year-old man was in his bedroom trying to fall asleep, police said

The burglars tied him to a chair at gunpoint while demanding money, the ransacked his home, police said. After they found some money they untied the man and fled the scene.

It appears the thieves made their way inside through a window and left out the front door. The victim wasn't injured.

The victim said the suspects were wearing black ski masks and black clothing.
