Emoji Sculpture in Miami Raises Awareness of Texting and Driving Dangers

It's an emoji with a real message behind it. Sprint has unveiled an eye-catching sculpture in Downtown Miami in an effort to warn drivers of the dangers of texting and driving.

The company said "The Last Emoji" is made from different parts of a car that crashed while the driver was texting.

Florida is one of the only states that doesn't list texting while driving as a primary offense.

Commuters are being asked to share the "DN'T TXT & DRIVE" message by posting a photo or selfie with the emoji sculpture using the hashtag #SprintDriveSafe.

The sculpture is located at 1200 Brickell Avenue in Miami and will be in place through Thursday.
